    Donations will be reviewed at the time of donation and books that are not accepted will be returned with the donor immediately. We are looking for books in gently used condition. We do not accept text books, encyclopedias, magazines, or CD/audiotapes.

  3. Drop-in Family Storytime

    This program is for children up to age 6 with an adult. This 45 minute program is perfect for families with several children of different ages. Activities include stories, songs, fingerplays, flannel boards, creative movement, and simple crafts.

  4. Movie Matinee: How To Train Your Dragon

    All are invited to a daytime screening of this popular children's film. Rated PG (for sequences of intense action and some scary images, and brief mild language). No registration is required. Popcorn will be provided. All children under age 11 MUST be accompanied by an adult who remains on the Lower Level.

  5. Fairy Tale Fun

    This story/craft program geared for children ages 7 and up. Younger children can be registered as long as a parent accompanies them. The fairy tale is JACK AND THE BEANSTALK and the craft is a decorated pot in which we will plant bean seeds. Registration is required.

  6. Meet the Candidates - Meet and Greet Event (for the 7/25 Special Election)

    NH Senate District 16 Candidate Event To Be Held in Bow. The League of Women Voters and the Bow Baker Free Library are holding a candidate Meet and Greet on Wednesday, June 28, 7-8:30 PM at the Bow Library. Candidates David Boutin-Republican, Kevin Cavanaugh-Democrat, and Jason Dubrow-Libertarian have been invited to take part. Following introductory statements by each candidate, the audience will be divided and candidates will rotate to each group for further questions. The special election to fill the unexpired term of Senator Scott McGilvray is Tuesday, July 25.
